What this edition contains
This is the first release of BuyerFood’s US edition. Its 31 articles, including adaptations of all 26 published Italian originals, were drafted with AI assistance and are awaiting Simone Paciaroni’s editorial review. A preparation date is not presented as a completed expert review.
What comes from experience, and what needs a source
Practical shopping advice uses BuyerFood’s store-to-kitchen approach. Safety temperatures and storage limits link to US government guidance. Professional background is described with its Italian context. We do not invent firsthand American shopping experiences, laboratory tests or product comparisons.
Safety and quality are different questions
A food can lose quality without a date functioning as an automatic safety deadline. Equally, attractive appearance or a normal smell cannot prove safety. Product directions, actual handling, recalls and the needs of higher-risk readers take priority over broad shopping shortcuts.
Commercial relationships
No article in this initial edition contains a paid placement or tracked affiliate link. If future guides use affiliate links, disclosures should appear close to those recommendations. A commission must not determine the safety advice or the result of a comparison. Sponsored work must be identified clearly.
Images and examples
The salmon, roast chicken and grocery still life are AI-generated editorial imagery, not photographs of product tests or store visits. Strawberry and label-reading photographs and Simone’s portrait come from the original BuyerFood image archive. Original image licensing should be confirmed for the US edition before public launch. Price examples are hypothetical and labeled as such.
Corrections and updates
Before public launch, each guide needs an author review and a recorded review date. Material corrections should be explained on the affected page. Readers can send proposed corrections through the existing contact page.
